Relief funds and warm support from various sectors are being delivered to comfort the families of victims who are in deep shock due to the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.


According to Jeollanam-do, on the 1st, following Governor Kim Dongyeon of Gyeonggi Province, and on the 2nd, a delegation including Vice Governor Park Myunggyun of Gyeongsangnam-do visited the memorial altar at Muan Airport to pay respects to the victims of the accident. They decided to entrust donations of 500 million won and 200 million won, respectively, to designated organizations from disaster relief funds.

The donations will be distributed to support funds for the families of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident victims and other necessary places.


Governor Kim Dongyeon said, "I offer my condolences to the bereaved families who have fallen into despair due to this sudden accident."


Vice Governor Park Myunggyun of Gyeongsangnam-do stated, "I hope the support from Gyeongnam Province can be of some help to the bereaved families who are suffering."


Jeollanam-do added that, through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, various organizations, companies, and individuals have delivered donations, including 300 million won from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, 150 million won from KEPCO KPS, and 20 million won from Mideumeui Namu Co., Ltd.


Governor Kim Youngrok of Jeollanam-do said, "I am grateful to everyone who has extended a helping hand to share in the sorrow of this accident," and added, "We will do our best to ensure the donations are properly delivered to the bereaved families suffering during this difficult time."
