9 Men, 11 Women... 230,000 Won per Month for Double Occupancy Room
Dangjin City in Chungcheongnam-do is recruiting 20 students (9 male, 11 female) from Dangjin who are attending universities in the Seoul metropolitan area for admission to the Chungcheongnam-do Seoul Student Dormitory (Chungnam Seoul Haksa-gwan) in 2025.
Opened in August 2020, Chungnam Seoul Haksa-gwan is located in Oryu-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, and can accommodate 280 residents in a building with 2 basement floors and 12 above-ground floors.
The dormitory is equipped with various amenities such as a library, study room, laundry room, gym, community room, and cafeteria, and provides three balanced meals a day.
Dangjin City has secured a stake in 10 rooms (2 people per room) at Chungnam Seoul Haksa-gwan by contributing 1.3 billion KRW.
Eligible applicants are current students (including freshmen) and students scheduled to return to school at universities located in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do.
The applicant or the applicant’s parent or grandparent (including maternal grandparents) must have been continuously registered as a resident of Dangjin City for at least one year as of the announcement date.
The dormitory fee is 230,000 KRW per month for a double room, and those selected through the Dangjin City recruitment will receive a monthly subsidy of 130,000 KRW per student from the Dangjin Scholarship Foundation. However, new residents must pay a separate admission fee of 60,000 KRW.
The application period is from the 2nd to the 10th, and applications can be submitted via email or registered mail.
