Taean County Begins New Year Operations... "Aiming to Become a Hub City for the Marine Economy" The '2025 New Year's Ceremony' held on the 2nd at the main auditorium of Taean County Office, Chungnam. /Taean County

Taean County in Chungnam held a New Year's kick-off ceremony at the county office's main auditorium on the 2nd, officially beginning its work for the Eulsayeon New Year.


Approximately 200 people attended the ceremony, including County Mayor Ga Se-ro, the deputy mayor, directors, and department heads. The event served as an opportunity to share the county's administrative direction for the year and exchange New Year's greetings with staff members.


Mayor Ga stated, "In celebration of the '2025 Taean Year of Visit,' we will make proactive efforts to attract tourists and, based on our achievements so far, also focus on fostering new industries and balanced development."


He also emphasized the promotion of welfare, improvement of residential conditions, recovery of the economy centered on citizens' livelihoods, and communication with residents, expressing his commitment to continue efforts for the region's mid- to long-term future development.


Ga Se-ro said, "As Taean County, now at the halfway point of the 8th popularly elected administration, strives to become a hub city for the marine economy in the Pan-Yellow Sea region, I will do my utmost together with our residents to ensure that Taean County moves in the right direction in the Eulsayeon New Year."
