Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 2nd that it has published the ‘2025 Namyangju City Life Guide’ to help newly relocated citizens settle smoothly and provide them with practical information for daily life.
The ‘2025 Namyangju City Life Guide’ consists of a total of 159 pages and is organized into six themes: △ Imagine No More Namyangju City △ Safe and Convenient Transportation City △ Healthy Healing Cultural City △ Education City Full of Learning △ Happy and Warm Welfare City △ Introduction to Namyangju, Our Village.
First, in ‘Imagine No More Namyangju City,’ citizens can find information on the current city administration and department-specific services, as well as various civil service administrative services such as using unmanned civil service issuance machines, passport issuance, and free legal consultations. In ‘Safe and Convenient Transportation City,’ public transportation information is provided, and in ‘Healthy Healing Cultural City,’ information about city landmarks and cultural spaces can be found.
Additionally, ‘Education City Full of Learning’ includes information on libraries such as the Human Book Library, lifelong learning centers, youth startup centers, and sports facilities. ‘Happy and Warm Welfare City’ provides guidance on various welfare services, the Employment Welfare Plus Center, youth support centers, and public health centers.
Furthermore, ‘Introduction to Namyangju, Our Village’ offers introductions to 16 eup, myeon, and dong districts, village festivals, and includes a Namyangju tourism guide map that allows citizens to view information about major tourist attractions at a glance.
The life guide materials are posted on the Namyangju City website under Sector Information > Living Information > Living Information Guide and can be downloaded. Printed copies will be distributed to citizens by being placed in the civil service offices of the city hall and eup, myeon, dong offices, as well as the Namyangju City Family Center.
A city official stated, “We hope that the ‘2025 Namyangju City Life Guide,’ which gathers various information, will serve as a useful guide for newly relocated citizens to adapt to an unfamiliar environment,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide various civil services for the convenience of citizens.”
