Outstanding Case of Proactive Administration... Secures 200 Million Won in Special Grant Tax
Buk-gu, Gwangju has secured a special grant of 200 million KRW after receiving the Prime Minister's Award in the local regulatory innovation performance evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
On the 2nd, Buk-gu was recognized in this evaluation for efficiently promoting overall regulatory innovation tasks, such as 'discovering region-specific regulatory improvement tasks,' 'revising local regulations to enhance residents' experience,' 'actively addressing shadow regulations,' and 'strengthening regulatory innovation incentives.'
In particular, last year's case of 'installing unmanned civil service kiosks for corporations at the Advanced Industrial Complex site' was selected as an exemplary case of proactive regulatory improvement, as it improved accessibility to administrative services for corporate entities and contributed to enhancing corporate productivity.
District Mayor Moon In said, "Local regulatory innovation leads to revitalizing the regional economy and improving the quality of life for residents. This year as well, we will resolve difficulties faced in the field to create an even better city to live in."
