Final successful candidates to be announced on February 11th
Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting new residents for the Yeoncheon-gun Scholarship Dormitory for 2025 to alleviate the financial burden of local students entering college and to support stable academic convenience.
This year, 78 students will be selected. The application period is from the 6th to the 17th, and applications can be submitted by mail or in person at the Yeoncheon-gun Scholarship Dormitory located in Sinseol-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. From the 13th to the 17th, applications can be submitted in person at the Yeoncheon-gun Unification Lifelong Education Center.
The final successful candidates will be announced on February 11. Eligibility requires applicants to be freshmen or currently enrolled students at a college or university of two years or more, and as of the announcement date, either the applicant or their guardian must have continuously held resident registration and lived in Yeoncheon-gun for more than one year.
The selection method for the general track is based on 80% academic performance and 20% committee evaluation, while the equal opportunity track is based on 80% living conditions and 20% committee evaluation. The selection committee for dormitory residents will review the scores.
