"Creating an Organization Built on Trust and Cooperation through Communication"

Cho Hyun-joon, Chairman of Hyosung, encouraged making this year a turning point by overcoming crises through communication and building a trusted Hyosung for the next hundred years.

At the New Year's ceremony held on the 2nd at the headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Chairman Cho diagnosed, "We are currently facing an existential crisis that could completely shake our survival and future."

He said, "No matter how severe the crisis is, those who prepare meticulously will surely find opportunities," and emphasized the importance of communication as a solution to overcome the crisis by stating, "We must unite all our strength to turn the current crisis into an opportunity."

Chairman Cho said, "Through communication, we must break down walls between each other, build trust, and create a cooperative organization," adding, "We need to create strong teamwork by sincerely listening, understanding each other's concerns, and sharing our hearts."

He also called for a fundamental change in meeting culture. Chairman Cho emphasized, "Meetings should not be formal gatherings that only repeat one-sided instructions and reports, but rather places where a wide range of information and opinions are freely exchanged to find the optimal solutions."

Chairman Cho encouraged, "The crisis will make us stronger," and said, "Let us combine everyone's strength to overcome this chaotic time and build the strongest and most trusted Hyosung for the next hundred years."
