Lee Young-jun, President of Lotte Chemical, stated on the 2nd, "We will create changes for sustainable growth through rapid business structure transformation and innovation activities to secure fundamental business competitiveness."

In his 2025 New Year's message announced that day, President Lee emphasized, "Based on the capabilities possessed by the Lotte chemical group, we will confidently create innovation together."

He said, "We will rapidly promote the ongoing business structure transformation and continue strict management focused on cash flow," adding, "While concurrently carrying out long-term transformation and effective, verified business changes, we will induce visible business transitions."

He continued, "New business investments will be made by analyzing the competitive advantages of the business base and reviewing market and competition perspectives to make strategic decisions."

President Lee also stated, "From a global business perspective, we will analyze the supply chain step-by-step?from the development, production, logistics, inventory, to market sales of chemical materials?and set goals for competitiveness innovation," pledging to promote functional innovation activities company-wide.

Furthermore, he emphasized, "We will actively create synergies based on the business capabilities possessed by the Lotte chemical group and strive to continuously expand future core business areas and strengthen research and development (R&D) capabilities."
