This casebook was created to leave valuable records of the field where the public and private sectors collaborated to strengthen the local community child protection system while carrying out the ‘Child Protection Da:Sup Project’ first implemented in Gwangju City this year.

The practice casebook contains cases where the public and private sectors collaborated to provide customized services for each household and individual, summarizes the case intervention process jointly promoted after the memorandum of understanding with related organizations, and describes the process of promoting effective practice methods.

In particular, it is more meaningful as it consists of practical case intervention processes such as the process of strengthening family functions, results of counseling and treatment program operations, and cases of community network cooperation while promoting the ‘Child Abuse Investigation and Child Protection Promotion Manual’ and ‘two Ministry of Health and Welfare public contest projects’ first implemented in Gwangju City this year.

An official from the Gyeonggi Gwangju Child Protection Agency stated, “This practice casebook is more meaningful because it does not merely record cases but was produced focusing on the importance of the public-private cooperation system in the child protection field and presents clues to problem-solving through a strength-based perspective promoted in step with Gwangju City.”

Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, “Congratulations on the publication of the ‘Public-Private Cooperation Da:Sup Project Warm Observation 2’ practice casebook,” and added, “Through the Child Protection Da:Sup Project 2.0, which is being promoted this year following last year, we will spare no administrative effort to foster the child protection forest together with community members through public-private cooperation.”

Meanwhile, ‘Public-Private Cooperation Da:Sup Project Warm Observation 2’ can be found on the websites of Gwangju City Hall and the Gyeonggi Gwangju Child Protection Agency.
