Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) held a New Year's worship ceremony for the year 2025, the Year of Eulsa (乙巳年), at the Memorial Tower within Gwangju City Patriotic Veterans Park on the 2nd.

The worship ceremony was attended by about 120 people, including Mayor Bang Se-hwan, National Assembly members So Byung-hoon and Ahn Tae-jun, City Council Chairman Heo Kyung-haeng, provincial and city council members, and heads of institutions and social organizations, and was conducted in a manner of joint worship after allocation.
The attendees spent time honoring the noble patriotism of the patriotic martyrs and national heroes who sacrificed for the country and pledged a vigorous start to the new year.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, “This year as well, we will dynamically promote the core goals of city administration with a mindset and attitude that prioritize the citizens.”
