[New Year's Message] Kwak No-jeong, President of SK Hynix, "A Year of Fundamental Innovation... We Must Leap Forward as a Top-tier Company"

Kwack No-jeong, CEO of SK Hynix, emphasized in his New Year's address on the 2nd that "this year should be a year of fundamental innovation, creating a new history of hope through technological innovation, corporate culture innovation, and operational innovation, continuing SK Hynix's Renaissance journey."

Kwack said, "Last year was a year that rewrote the history of SK Hynix and the semiconductor industry, thanks to the efforts of all members and close collaboration with group affiliates," adding, "I am grateful to the members who did their best with the One Team Spirit despite various difficulties on the ground."

He continued, "Now is the time to start a new year that surpasses last year in every aspect," urging, "We must not only focus on financial performance but also continuously innovate to complement our shortcomings and enhance our core capabilities to become a world-class company."

He went on, "To achieve this, we must first concentrate more on 'technological innovation,' the source of our competitiveness, and unite all company capabilities to launch innovative products with the highest quality and performance to the market in a timely manner."

Kwack explained, "Also, based on the group's management philosophy, SKMS (SK Management System), we all need to make special efforts in corporate culture innovation that further develops our way of working, and operational innovation that simultaneously improves profitability and work processing levels through advanced operation improvement."

He concluded, "This year, amid the wave of the artificial intelligence (AI) era, we will face challenges in more areas such as technology development, management, production, and marketing. Numerous challenges can become crises if we let our guard down even for a moment, but as in our proud past history, we can turn crises into opportunities and achieve greater success and development."
