Gyeonggi Provincial Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee began the official New Year's schedule of the Year of the Eulsa by visiting and paying respects at the Yangju City Memorial Tower on the 2nd.
On this day, the visit to the Memorial Tower was conducted with Superintendent Lim Tae-hee, Second Deputy Superintendent Hong Jeong-pyo, Director of Education Policy, Director of Convergence Education, Auditor, Head of Operations Support Division, Head of Local Government Personnel Division, and the Director of Dongducheon Yangju Office of Education, among other staff members.
Superintendent Lim and his party offered flowers and incense at the Memorial Tower and observed a moment of silence to honor the spirits of the patriotic martyrs and national heroes.

After writing the phrase "Bumin Gang-guk (富民强國)! Gyeonggi Education will achieve it" in the guestbook, Superintendent Lim pledged to embark on a hopeful new start for Gyeonggi education together with the education community.
Superintendent Lim began the New Year's morning of 2023 by visiting the Uijeongbu City Memorial Tower and started the official schedule in 2024 by visiting the Seongnam City Memorial Tower. He plans to continue visiting and paying respects at major facilities within the province that honor the patriotic martyrs and national heroes.
