Establishment of On-site Issue Response Team and Alley-type Shopping District Development Team for Departmental Function Adjustment and Efficient Project Implementation
The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on the 2nd that it completed organizational restructuring on the 26th of last month to adjust departmental functions and efficiently promote projects centered on job roles in response to changes in domestic and external policy environments.
Through this reorganization, the Sojin Gong organization changed from the previous structure of 6 headquarters, 1 research center, 22 offices, and 8 regional headquarters to 7 headquarters, 1 research institute, 23 offices, and 8 regional headquarters.
First, to stabilize the management of small business owners by overcoming management crises, supporting re-challenges, and alleviating cost burdens, the Re-Challenge Support Headquarters was reorganized into the Management Stabilization Headquarters. As part of follow-up measures from the public discussion held on the 2nd of last month, an On-Site Difficulty Response Team was established within this headquarters to comprehensively manage the four major livelihood damages.
As a follow-up to the announcement of measures to improve the illegal distribution of Onnuri Gift Certificates, a Gift Certificate Distribution Management Team was newly established, formalizing the current Onnuri Gift Certificate Business Inspection Team as a regular organization. To overcome crises such as regional extinction risks and domestic demand recession, a new Alley-type Shopping District Development Team was created to enhance support functions for revitalizing local commercial districts.
Additionally, to strengthen management and on-site response, the existing ESG Innovation Office was elevated to the ESG Evaluation Headquarters, and the organizational restructuring was implemented considering the strengthening of responses to major issues and management.
