Korea Community Chest of 3 Billion KRW and Korean Red Cross of 2 Billion KRW
Major Affiliates Including Yujin Corporation and Yujin Investment & Securities Prepared Funds
Yujin Group started this year's work with sharing.
On the 2nd, Yujin Group announced that it donated a total of 500 million KRW, including 300 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea and 200 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross, at its office building in Yeouido, Seoul.
The donations were prepared by major affiliates of Yujin Group, including Yujin Enterprise, Yujin Investment & Securities, Dongyang, and Yujin Leisure.
Since 2016, Yujin Group has held a "Donation Opening Ceremony" on the first working day of each year and donated social contribution funds as a way to fulfill corporate social responsibility and to strengthen the commitment of all employees to sharing. This year, to participate in the national mourning period for the passenger plane disaster, the event was omitted and only the donations were delivered to the fundraising organizations.
A Yujin Group official said, "We hope this sharing will help those in need and marginalized neighbors in various sectors of society, even if just a little," and added, "We will continue to realize positive social values based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management."
