[New Year's Message] Chairman Jo Hyun-beom: "Relentless Innovation... Let's Become Leaders in the Future Mobility Ecosystem"

Cho Hyun-bum, Chairman of Korea & Company Group, urged employees in his 2025 New Year's address to maintain an innovative mindset that does not settle for past achievements. In his New Year's message following the completion of the acquisition of Hanon Systems, Chairman Cho presented the goal of becoming a global top-tier high-tech group and emphasized creating a clear distinction from competitors.


On the 2nd, Chairman Cho said in a New Year's video message, "Let us not be complacent with our achievements and continue the group's unique proactive challenges," adding, "Let us focus more on the goal of becoming a global high-tech group." The video was delivered to approximately 24,000 employees of Korea & Company Group and was translated into 26 languages, including Korean, English, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic.

Chairman Cho emphasized Korea & Company Group's unique 'proactive innovation,' pointing out that "the most dangerous attitude is to avoid change." He continued, "Although there were favorable results last year and the external achievement of acquiring Hanon Systems, the evaluations from shareholders and stakeholders are still insufficient," adding, "Let us not be satisfied or complacent with these results."


To this end, Chairman Cho requested three core tasks: ▲strengthening sustainable research and development (R&D) capabilities ▲accelerating group-level digital transformation strategies such as AI and data-driven approaches ▲enhancing proactive capabilities.


He also called for all members to collectively consider how to interpret and utilize AI and data, to respond actively rather than avoid change when it comes, and to expand a proactive culture that tries differently even after failure.


He emphasized, "Let us continuously innovate sustainable product and service R&D and become leaders in the future mobility ecosystem," adding, "By repeatedly engaging in 'proactive challenges'?trying again after failure and ultimately finding solutions?we will create a clear difference from other companies and focus on our customers."
