Samsung Electronics will launch the AI-powered laptop 'Galaxy Book5 Pro' in South Korea on the 2nd.
The Galaxy Book5 Pro enables more efficient execution of tasks such as communication, creation, and data search through Galaxy AI.
It is equipped with the 'Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2 (codename Lunar Lake)' supporting up to 47 TOPS (47 trillion operations per second) of Neural Processing Unit (NPU), allowing stable AI-powered task performance.
For the first time in the Galaxy Book series, it features the 'AI Select' function, which quickly searches for curious images or texts within videos, photos, and other content. Microsoft's Copilot+ PC feature will also be supported through future updates.
Available in two models: 40.6 cm (16-inch) and 35.6 cm (14-inch), and in gray and silver colors. Prices range from 1,768,000 KRW to 2,808,000 KRW depending on model, CPU, graphics card, memory, and other detailed specifications.
Compared to the previous Galaxy Book4 Pro, the 40.6 cm (16-inch) model with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD is priced 132,000 KRW lower at 2,458,000 KRW, with prices reduced up to 182,000 KRW depending on detailed specifications.
Additionally, the 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360,' which was sold exclusively on Samsung.com since its release in October last year, will be available at major offline stores and online malls starting from the 2nd. The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is also launched at prices reduced by up to 264,000 KRW compared to its predecessor, depending on detailed specifications. Customers who purchase the 'Galaxy Book5 Series' from the 2nd to the 16th will receive 'MS Office Home 2024.'
Customers who apply for purchase benefits through the 'Galaxy Book Members' app from the 2nd until March 31 will receive ▲a limited edition Starbucks collaboration laptop pouch for the first 50,000 customers ▲a 120,000 KRW discount coupon for the Galaxy Buds3 series ▲and discounts on the Nakedness Prime backpack.
In addition, Samsung Electronics offers various partnership content benefits including ▲free Noteshelf usage voucher ▲1-year Goodnote subscription ▲2-month Yesform subscription ▲60-day Yes24 Crema Club subscription ▲and a 30% discount coupon for 12 months of Genie music streaming.
The 'AI Trade-in' promotion, which provides additional compensation on top of the used purchase price when returning used laptops or tablet devices, will also run from the 2nd to March 31.
Samsung Electronics will provide up to 300,000 KRW in additional compensation when customers trade in Samsung or other brand laptops or tablet devices upon purchasing the Galaxy Book5 Pro, Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10+, or Galaxy Tab S9.
