Choi Tae-won, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman of SK Group), visited the joint memorial altar for the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster on the 1st to express his condolences.

On that day, Chairman Choi visited the joint memorial altar set up in front of the Seoul City Hall main building in the morning to pay his respects. In the condolence book, he wrote, "I pray for the souls of the victims. The business community will contribute to making society safer."
Earlier that morning, in his New Year's message to SK Group members, Chairman Choi also said, "I pray for the repose of the deceased and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families."
The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to hold a moment of silence and other mourning activities to honor the victims of the disaster at the upcoming New Year's gathering of the business community in March.
