The identities of all 179 victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster have been confirmed.

According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the 1st, as of 6 a.m. that day, the identities of all 179 deceased were confirmed. It was reported that the identities of the five victims who had not been identified until the previous day were all confirmed on this day.

At the time of the accident, 181 people were on board the passenger plane, and among them, two crew members were rescued immediately after the accident.

The government is providing emergency medical care, funeral, and psychological support for the bereaved families of the deceased, and is operating an accident response headquarters to investigate the cause of the accident.
