15 Libraries in Goyang City Operate Simultaneously
For Elementary School Students Grades 3 to 6
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 31st that starting January 2025, it will operate the children's reading club program "Kkobuk Club (GO! BOOKCLUB)" at 15 libraries within the city.

This program was prepared to increase children's interest in reading and to foster a sense of belonging through community activities.
The program targets children in 3rd to 4th grade and 5th to 6th grade of elementary school, selecting age-appropriate books for each group. Through various creative reading-based activities such as reading discussions, web magazine writing, and transcription challenges, it aims to provide children with rich reading experiences and cultural opportunities.
In particular, a special literary experience is planned for participating children with scheduled meetings in June with author Kim Hye-jung of "Time Gene" and author Jin Hyung-min of the "Wae Wae Wae Club".
The operation schedule is divided by library into either the third or fourth Saturday of each month, with the detailed schedule as follows.

Applications for the program can be made from 10 a.m. on January 2nd through the Goyang City Library Center website, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
