Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 31st that it will recruit beneficiaries for the '2024 Community Service Investment Project Voucher' for five days from January 6 to 10, 2025.
The project consists of services such as Our Child Psychological Support Service, Massage Service for the Visually Impaired, Customized Exercise Service for the Disabled, Visiting Customized Rehabilitation Service for Chronic Patients, and Rental Service for Assistive Devices for the Disabled.
The Community Service Investment Project is a user-centered welfare system in which local governments discover social services tailored to regional characteristics and resident demands, issue 'social service use vouchers (electronic vouchers)' to users, and support them in selecting desired services and providers.
During this application period, the city plans to select a total of 80 beneficiaries for two projects: Customized Exercise Service for the Disabled (55 people) and Rental Service for Assistive Devices for the Disabled (25 people). If the number of applicants exceeds the recruitment quota, beneficiaries will be selected based on priority criteria.
Those who wish to use the services should prepare identification and diagnosis certificates or other required supporting documents for each service and apply by visiting the administrative welfare center of their jurisdictional neighborhood office. Selected beneficiaries can use the services for one year starting from February 2025.
