Daewook Cast is a pig iron casting company located in Dasan Industrial Complex, and has been making designated donations to low-income households since 2013. In December 2018, it joined the Honor Society (Goryeong-gun No. 5).
The Honor Society is a group of individual major donors who have donated more than 100 million won or pledged to donate within five years through the Community Chest of Korea. Daewook Cast donated 30 million won in 2019 and has continuously practiced neighborly love by donating 50 million won each year from 2020 to 2023 as love donations, serving as a model for sharing practice.
CEO Moon Young-wook said, “I hope this will help neighbors who are having a harder time in the cold weather, and through sharing, I want to give strength and courage to those in need.”
County Governor Lee Nam-chul expressed, “Despite the economic downturn, we deeply appreciate the meaningful donations every year, and the donated funds will be used valuably for the local neighbors in need.”
