Park Mun-seo, CEO of Dongwon Industries' holding division, has been promoted to vice chairman.
Dongwon Group announced on the 29th that it has carried out regular executive appointments for a total of 17 people, including Park's promotion to vice chairman. The effective date of the appointments is the 1st of next month.
Newly appointed Vice Chairman Park is an expert in finance and planning at Dongwon Group. He previously introduced the holding company system and played a role in the mergers and acquisitions of Starkist, Techpack Solution (now Dongwon Systems), and Dongbu Express (now Dongwon Loex). Recently, he has promoted measures such as treasury stock cancellation, free capital increase, and changes in dividend policy to enhance the corporate value of Dongwon Industries.
Vice Chairman Park graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in Business Administration and joined Dongwon Industries in 1987. He served as CEO of Dongwon Enterprises in 2018 and has been CEO of Dongwon Industries' holding division since 2022.
Dongwon Group expressed its commitment to technology-based management in this personnel reshuffle. Jang In-seong, head of the General Technology Institute overseeing the group's technology development, was promoted to executive vice president, and at Dongwon Systems, which operates in secondary batteries, materials, and packaging businesses, Seo Beom-won, executive vice president and CEO of the Packaging Business Division, was promoted to president.
Additionally, Dongwon Group appointed Kim Min-jung, head of the Marketing Team in the Food Ingredient FS Business Division at Dongwon Home Food, as the second female executive.
