GTX-A Unjeong Jungang Station First Passenger Welcome Event

GTX A Operation at Unjeongjungang Station Presents Mascot Goods to First Passenger
CEO Jojinhwan: "We Will Do Our Best to Ensure Fast and Safe Travel"

GTX-A Operation, a subsidiary of Seoul Metro, held a first-customer welcoming event on December 28, 2024, at Unjeongjungang Station to celebrate the opening of the GTX-A section from Unjeongjungang Station to Seoul Station.

About 30 executives and employees of GTX-A Operation attended the event and took time to present souvenirs to the passengers.

The souvenirs distributed this time were goods featuring the recently developed mascot GT*, including mugs, pens, and keychains, attracting attention.

GT (GT): A name derived from the initials of GTX (Great Train eXpress). It also carries the meaning of wishing to give all GTX users a Good Time.

The first three passengers received bouquets, coffee gift certificates, and umbrella & towel sets in addition to the mascot goods, and were fortunate to take commemorative photos with the management of GTX-A Operation Co., Ltd.

CEO Jinwhan Cho inspected the train operation status and station facilities following the event and said, "With the opening of the Unjeongjungang Station to Seoul Station section, the number of GTX-A line users is expected to increase significantly. All of our executives and employees will continue to do their best to ensure fast and safe transportation for our customers."
