This sponsorship fund was raised through 10% of the sales amount generated at each participating booth of the Namyangju Jump Flea Market, profits from booths operated by on-site volunteers, and sales revenue from upcycled bags made using discarded banners.
The donated funds will be used for various support projects aimed at neighbors in blind spots of welfare within Namyangju City.
President Yu Gil-moon said, “I hope this will provide some warm comfort to local neighbors facing difficulties during the cold winter,” and added, “We will continue to actively engage in social contribution activities that coexist with the local community and spread the value of sharing.”
Joo Kwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, said, “I sincerely thank the Namyangju Jump Flea Market Association for extending a warm hand,” and added, “I hope the Namyangju Jump Flea Market will further develop as a place for resource circulation and local cultural communication.”
CEO Won Byung-il said, “I thank the members of the Namyangju Jump Flea Market Association who participated in the donation thinking of neighbors in need around us, and the precious sponsorship funds will be properly delivered to those in need.”
