Pearl Abyss has been steadily conducting donation activities using its flagship game, "Black Desert," which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Donations have been made together with users not only in local communities but also in various countries.

Pearl Abyss has created a positive donation culture through participatory donation events with game users. In the game Black Desert, users purchase a "Symbol of Sharing" with silver coins, and Pearl Abyss donates to Doctors Without Borders based on the total amount.

Since 2019, Pearl Abyss has been donating 100 million KRW annually to Doctors Without Borders. These donations are used for medical support activities for patients suffering in areas affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, and medical blind spots worldwide.

To commemorate 3,000 days of Black Desert service, a donation event was also held. Pearl Abyss delivered donations to the global child rights NGO "Good Neighbors," which were used to prevent malnutrition and improve nutrition for vulnerable children.

They also conducted the "Big Walk Donation Campaign" to celebrate the 4th anniversary of Black Desert's direct service in Korea. The donations were given to the nonprofit organization "Green Light" and used to provide standing wheelchairs to children with disabilities at the Korea Woojin School, a national special school.

Profits from a pop-up store were also donated. Pearl Abyss operated a pop-up store to commemorate the release of Black Desert's new continent, "Land of Morning." All proceeds from the sale of various goods were donated to travel support projects for socially vulnerable children and youth. Additionally, every year, Pearl Abyss holds the annual Black Desert events, Heidel Banquet and Calpheon Banquet, donating all ticket sales revenue.

Furthermore, Pearl Abyss carries out various relief activities during domestic and international disaster situations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they supported quarantine supplies and donations, and provided emergency relief funds to areas affected by natural disasters.

A Pearl Abyss representative said, "Sharing activities go beyond simple donations and contribute to creating positive changes in society, establishing a model case of fulfilling corporate responsibility. We will continue to promote a culture of sharing based on game user participation and operate as a responsible company at both local and global levels."
