Recognition of Research on Gender Development Plans and More

The Gender Equality Policy Awards contest, hosted by the Local Autonomy Development Center, was promoted to discover excellent cases of gender equality policies and to award councilors who have contributed to the realization of these policies, thereby promoting outstanding gender equality policies.
Councilor Om was recognized for his legislative activities including ▲strengthening the gender-responsive budgeting and settlement system ▲establishing a system for promoting gender mainstreaming policies ▲improving systems to support and prevent violence against women victims ▲building a framework to prevent digital sex crimes ▲and researching ways to advance gender policies.
