Jeonnam Development Corporation (President Jang Chungmo) announced on the 26th that it has been certified as an Excellent Labor-Management Relations Company by the Korea Management Registrar (KMR) for three consecutive years.
The Excellent Labor-Management Relations Company certification is awarded to companies that have established a cooperative and mutually respectful labor-management relationship based on trust and collaboration.
Jeonnam Development Corporation received this certification in recognition of its high maturity in labor-management relations and its continuous efforts to build a future-oriented labor-management culture. Since its establishment in 2004, the corporation has maintained zero labor disputes for 20 consecutive years, building a culture of communication and cooperation based on participation and trust.
In addition, to overcome the low birthrate crisis, the labor and management have jointly formed a dedicated task force team and have been leading the way in improving systems that support work-life balance, such as operating a childcare time system and introducing a leave system for spouses in the event of a miscarriage.
The corporation stated that this certification recognizes Jeonnam Development Corporation's labor-management relations as a model case of an advanced labor-management culture.
Jang Chungmo, President of Jeonnam Development Corporation, said, "Achieving the Excellent Labor-Management Relations Company certification for three consecutive years is a very meaningful accomplishment, as it is a recognition of the trust and harmony between labor and management by an external organization. We will continue to foster a healthy labor-management culture and promote various cooperative activities for shared growth."
