Scholarships Sponsored for 75 Student Athletes
KHNP Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters awarded scholarships to 75 student athletes from Uljin County at the Hanul Headquarters PR Center to support the development of young sports talents.

The recipients included 17 in shooting, 55 in soccer, and 3 in yachting, each receiving 500,000 KRW, totaling 37.5 million KRW in scholarships.
The selected student athletes achieved notable results such as 1st place in the individual air rifle category for high school girls at the 40th Chairman's National Shooting Competition, 2nd place in the soccer division at the 2024 Gyeongbuk Provincial Student Sports Competition, and 1st place in the boys' middle school division and 2nd place in both boys' high school and girls' high school divisions at the 42nd Chairman's Gyeongbuk Shooting Competition.
The scholarship program, which has been in effect since 2017, targets students enrolled in middle and high schools within the jurisdiction who are registered with the Korea Sports Council and actively participate in sports.
A teacher from Uljin Middle School who attended the award ceremony expressed, “We are grateful to Hanul Headquarters for supporting the students so they can pursue their dreams, and we will do our best to guide the children to fully develop their talents.”
In response, Lee Seyong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, “I am proud to contribute to the students' dedication to both academics and sports, and we will continue to think about and strive to be a pillar of support for students in the region.”
