Ulsan Ulju-gun announced on the 26th that it will implement the ‘2025 Apartment Support Project’ targeting apartment complexes in the region.
The Apartment Support Project is being promoted to create a pleasant and safe residential environment. Ulju-gun plans to invest 3 billion KRW this year to repair and improve common facilities within apartment complexes such as roads, streetlights, children’s playgrounds, and senior citizen centers.
The support targets apartments that have passed five years since their approval (inspection) date, and priority for support is determined based on support performance, completion year, and number of households.
In particular, Ulju-gun will prioritize 600 million KRW out of the total 3 billion KRW budget to support aging senior citizen centers within apartment complexes. Support will also be expanded to include the installation, expansion, relocation, repair, and replacement of electric vehicle charging facilities, as well as the installation of CCTVs linked to smart control platforms inside elevators.
Applications for the project will be accepted at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers from the 2nd to the 31st of next month. Ulju-gun plans to select supported apartments through the Apartment Support Review Committee in March next year, proceed with detailed design, and begin construction in August.
An official from Ulju-gun said, “This year, the budget will be prioritized and allocated for support such as repairs to senior citizen centers, and various support will be provided to reduce damage to apartments caused by electric vehicle fires. We ask apartment complexes wishing to receive support to show great interest and apply.”
