KB Securities, 'Retirement Pension RA' Designated as First Innovative Financial Service

KB Securities announced on the 26th that its self-developed 'Retirement Pension Robo-Advisor (RA)' has been designated as an Innovative Financial Service.

At the regular meeting of the Financial Services Commission held on the 24th, the delegated RA services for retirement pensions provided by financial companies including KB Securities, fintech firms, and securities companies were designated as Innovative Financial Services for the first time. With the full-scale launch of personalized artificial intelligence (AI) asset management services, the retirement pension RA service is expected to be released soon.

Going forward, by utilizing the delegated retirement pension RA service, customers’ individual retirement pension (IRP) funds can be automatically managed through AI algorithms and big data analysis. Based on performance evaluations, portfolios suitable for customers’ investment tendencies and the changing financial market environment can be constructed.

Until now, financial companies could only offer advisory services providing RA-based investment portfolios, but with the passage of this Innovative Financial Service review, financial companies that pass can now sell RA delegated products targeting IRPs, enabling them to actively target the retirement pension market.

Accordingly, KB Securities plans to launch the RA retirement pension service in the first half of next year and aims to build a system that maximizes customer benefits through thorough testing and improvements in business processing procedures.
