This was their first broadcast appearance since announcing the termination of their exclusive contract with their agency, Adore, on the 28th of last month. During the broadcast, the members attracted attention by appearing only under their individual names without using the team name 'NewJeans.'

Minji wore a T-shirt bearing the name of Min Hee-jin, former CEO of Adore, conveying a meaningful message. Haerin reflected on the past year, saying, "There were many incidents, and through them, I have grown. I cannot know everything about the world, but I have seen many sides and something significant happened within me this year."

The most tearful moment on the broadcast came after Hani sang her self-composed song "Darling Darling." Hani said, "When I wrote this song, we were all going through a difficult time," and showed tears, adding, "The wounds have not healed all at once." Hyelin and Danielle also shed tears together. Danielle emphasized the strong bond among the members, saying, "We were like family before, but now we have become even closer and more like family."

For their New Year's wish in 2025, they chose to hold a solo concert in Korea. Hani expressed a sincere desire, saying, "Just like we performed at Tokyo Dome this year, I want to perform tremendously in Korea as well," but added, "Rather than having a huge crowd, I want a stage where we can pour out everything we have." Although there are no concrete plans yet, they showed their intention to spend meaningful time with their fans.

The members also mentioned the prepayment of food for the rally calling for the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-youl, which recently became an issue. Regarding the prepayment of about 560 servings of food, Danielle explained, "The weather was cold, and eating warm food warms your stomach," adding, "We wanted people to have warm moments while talking with those next to them."

Minji shared her thoughts, saying, "I felt proud because fans gathered light sticks, took photos, and certified that many people ate together."

Meanwhile, Adore maintains the position that the exclusive contract is still valid and has filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract against the members. Regarding the radio appearance, the agency stated, "The artist decided to appear independently without discussing it with the company," and said they were not informed in advance.

As the members continue their independent activities and the agency pursues legal action, interest in their future direction is intensifying.
