Reallocation for Smooth Projects in the 8th Elected Term
Notable Achievements in Great Hangang and Gidong Car

The Seoul Metropolitan Government carried out personnel transfers for executives at level 4 and above on the 24th in the first half of 2025. Notably, executives who achieved results by leading key city administration projects such as Great Hangang and Climate Companion Card were strategically reassigned effective January 1 next year.


According to the major appointments of offices, headquarters, and bureau chiefs announced by the Seoul Metropolitan Government on this day, Joo Yong-tae, head of the Future Hangang Headquarters, was appointed as the Director of the Economic Office. Yoon Jong-jang, Director of the Welfare Office, was reassigned, and Yeo Jang-kwon, head of the Climate Environment Headquarters, was appointed as the Director of the Transportation Office. Kwon Min, head of the Resource Recovery Facility Promotion Team, was appointed as the head of the Climate Environment Headquarters.

Ma Chae-sook, Public Relations Planning Officer, was transferred to the head of the Culture Headquarters, and Koo Jong-won, Director of the Lifelong Education Bureau, was appointed as the Director of the Tourism and Sports Bureau. Lee Hye-kyung, Deputy Mayor of Songpa-gu, was appointed as the Director of the Finance Bureau. Additionally, Kim Seung-won, Construction Technology Policy Officer, was appointed as the head of the Balanced Development Headquarters, and Han Byung-yong, Director of the Housing Office, was transferred to the Director of the Disaster Safety Office. The Housing Office Director position was filled by Choi Jin-seok, head of the Urban Infrastructure Headquarters.


Lee Dong-ryul, Director of the Administration Bureau, stated, "This personnel reshuffle focused on upgrading citizens' lives in the second half of the 8th elected term," adding, "We will continue to provide better administrative services to citizens in areas such as livelihood economy and welfare through performance-based personnel management."
