On the morning of the 24th, four people, including parents and male and female children, were found dead in Yangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, prompting a police investigation.
According to Yonhap News Agency, police, and fire authorities, at around 10:15 a.m. that day, a report was received from hikers at an open area near Hoamsaji in Hoam-dong, Yangju-si, stating that a vehicle had been parked there since the 21st. Police and fire authorities who arrived at the scene discovered four deceased individuals in the parked passenger car: a couple in their 40s, Mr. A and his wife, along with their son (11) and daughter (5).
The police identified that the family had been living in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and moved to Yangju-si last month. The police plan to investigate the time and cause of death through an autopsy conducted by the National Forensic Service.
