National Gwangju Science Museum Launches Three New AI Exhibits

Incorporating Latest AI Technologies Such as Deep Learning and Vision Recognition

The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 24th that it will officially operate three new exhibits installed in the Artificial Intelligence Hall.

The new exhibits are "Masterpieces Created by Me and Artificial Intelligence," "Motion Art with Artificial Intelligence," and a "Robot Puppy" that utilizes vision algorithms and reinforcement learning.

"Masterpieces Created by Me and Artificial Intelligence" is an interactive exhibit that uses deep learning technology to transform visitors' appearances into those of characters in famous paintings. By synthesizing the visitor's facial expression with that of the Mona Lisa, it offers a unique experience as if becoming the main character in the artwork.

"Motion Art with Artificial Intelligence" uses vision recognition algorithms to detect visitors' movements, providing the joy of interacting with the artwork displayed on the screen.

The "Robot Puppy" is a robot that has learned various movements through reinforcement learning, showcasing lively actions such as walking, running, crouching, jumping, and performing cute gestures.

"Masterpieces Created by Me and Artificial Intelligence" and "Motion Art with Artificial Intelligence" are available for visitors to experience at any time in the permanent exhibition hall on the second floor of the Artificial Intelligence Hall, while the "Robot Puppy" can be found at the special stage on the first floor of the Artificial Intelligence Hall.
