Honam University announced on the 24th that the Department of Robotics and Drone Engineering (headed by Kim Gwangtaek) will provide drone maintenance and management training during the winter break to strengthen practical drone education for its students.
This training, which runs from the previous day until the 27th, is supported by the Honam University Regional Innovation Platform Project Group (headed by Jeong Jaepyeong), and features a leading regional drone maintenance expert as an instructor. The training utilizes the ETF 616 and DJI T40 models, which are most commonly used for disaster prevention purposes.
Through this training, students will master the process of fully disassembling and assembling drones, while learning methods for diagnosing malfunctions.
On the previous day, students learned about the functions and roles of each component and part, as well as malfunction diagnosis, by completely disassembling a drone.
Since its establishment in 2022, the Department of Robotics and Drone Engineering at Honam University has contributed to the local industry by nurturing top experts and supporting students in exploring diverse career paths through initiatives such as free drone license acquisition training, expert-level drone maintenance and operation education, engineering-based robotics and drone design education, and AI robot drone coating training.
