Kakao Hosts New Year's 'Lachunbok Delivery' Event at Dosan Park

Kakao announced on the 24th that it will hold a special New Year's event called 'Lachunbok Delivery' at Dosan Park in Gangnam-gu.

This event is designed to share blessings and make wishes with those around you during the year-end and New Year period, and will be held for about six weeks from the 24th of this month until February 2nd next year.

Kakao, together with Gangnam-gu, decorated the entire Dosan Park as a New Year-themed space using the Ryan and Chunsik characters. The path from the main gate of Dosan Park into the park was decorated with lucky pouches and Chunsik hanji paper to create a New Year atmosphere as soon as visitors enter the park. In the center of the park, giant balloons of Ryan and Chunsik dressed in winter costumes such as fur hats were installed as a photo zone.

At the Chunsik lucky pouch-shaped pop-up booth located next to the photo zone, the first 100 people each day from 12 PM to 5 PM who participate in the social media (SNS) event will receive a lucky pouch goods package containing hand warmers, acrylic keyrings, and random lottery tickets with New Year's blessings. Visitors can also write their New Year's hopes and wishes on a wish map provided. Gangnam-gu will also conduct an outdoor advertising campaign to promote this event.

Choi Seon, Kakao Friends Creative Leader, stated, "Following this year, we plan to continue holding large-scale offline events showcasing Kakao's various character intellectual properties (IPs) in 2025."
