GS25 Raises Store Incentives and Expands Hiring Infrastructure to "Enhance Competitiveness"

New Store Win-Win Support System to Be Introduced Next Year

GS25 announced its win-win support plan for next year and stated on the 24th that it will work to increase the profits and expand the welfare of franchise business owners.

The core of the 2025 win-win support system is largely divided into profit improvement, operational environment enhancement, and welfare expansion.

In the profit improvement category, the criteria for supporting additional incentives to enhance store performance have been expanded. The incentive funds paid according to the sales of key specialized products such as fresh food (FF) have increased by more than 20% compared to last year, and the additional incentive amount receivable based on store efforts has also risen by more than 10% compared to last year.

Stores with excellent incentives will also be provided with a 1-night, 2-day healing program including domestic tourism and experiential activities. This is prepared to motivate strengthening store competitiveness and revitalizing sales while providing sufficient opportunities for recharging.

Support for store operations will also be strengthened. Stores that have obtained the ‘Excellent’ grade in the nationally certified hygiene rating system will receive 100% support for water purifier filter costs. The hygiene rating system is a nationally certified certification system supervised by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

The use of digital platforms will be increased. Through a partnership with the recruitment platform ‘Geupgu,’ the channel for recruiting workers will be strengthened. The store management application (app) ‘Bossmon’ supports work efficiency by managing attendance, calculating wages, preparing labor contracts, and automatically issuing pay slips. Additionally, cooperation with the foreign student recruitment platform ‘Bijob’ expands the infrastructure for hiring foreign workers. In terms of store facilities, various support measures have been prepared to improve the management environment, such as installing eco covers and supporting refrigeration equipment cleaning.

Additional welfare benefits are diverse. GS25 has newly established a multi-child franchise fee discount system, offering a 2 million KRW discount on franchise fees if there are two or more children under 18 years old. The ‘GS Hero Award System’ has expanded its recipients from business owners and workers to include the families of business owners, providing awards worth up to 1 million KRW to those who practice exemplary social activities. In collaboration with the comprehensive medical partner ‘SafeDoc,’ GS25 supports the lowest price benefits and reservation convenience for 15 non-reimbursable medical items. Furthermore, considering the significantly increased cost of goods due to inflation, the maximum compensation limit for comprehensive property insurance has been raised from 30 million KRW to 40 million KRW.

Shin Dong-hoon, head of the GS Retail Win-Win Cooperation Team, said, “The 2025 win-win support system focuses not only on increasing store profits but also on improving the operational environment and expanding welfare to promote sustainable growth.” He added, “GS25 will continue to make every effort to provide effective win-win support plans and secure differentiated competitiveness for mutual growth with franchise business owners every year.”
