Five Youth Facilities Including Changdong Youth Culture House and Staff Receive Excellent Scores in Government Agency Evaluation
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that several district-run youth facilities in the area achieved outstanding awards in multiple government agency evaluations this year.
The district reported that five youth facilities (including staff), including Changdong Youth Culture House, received prestigious awards such as the Minister’s Award, Seoul Metropolitan Mayor’s Award, and Chairman’s Award in evaluations conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and the Korea Youth Activity Promotion Agency.
The Dobong-gu Youth Support Center played a significant role in these achievements. The district opened the center in August last year to manage and support youth facilities. The center carries out tasks such as revitalizing youth facilities and developing programs for the healthy growth of youth, promoting systematic and continuous youth policies through organic communication with local youth facilities.
Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, “This is the result of efforts by both the district and youth facilities for the healthy growth and development of local youth,” adding, “We will continue to implement related policies with youth facilities so that local youth can gain diverse experiences and nurture their dreams in a safe and happy environment.”
Looking at the detailed award achievements, first, by institution: Changdong Youth Culture House was recognized as an excellent base at the '25th Seoul Youth Volunteer Contest' hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Activity Promotion Center, receiving the Seoul Metropolitan Mayor’s Award and the Korea Youth Activity Promotion Agency Chairman’s Award.
