Seosan City in Chungnam Province has been selected as an excellent institution in the "2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of Land Administration Performance" organized by Chungnam Province.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that Seosan City has been recognized as an excellent institution, following its selection in 2021, the top institution in 2022, and an excellent institution again in 2023.
Among the 15 cities and counties in Chungcheongnam-do, Seosan City is the first to be selected as an excellent institution for four consecutive years in this evaluation.
The evaluation selects excellent institutions through 33 detailed assessments and on-site inspections in six areas: cadastral management, land policy, spatial information, real estate address policy, unmanned aerial survey, and key initiatives.
This year, the city operated the "On-site Civil Consultation Program," providing consultations and customized information to businesses and citizens experiencing difficulties with cadastral complaints.
In addition, the city ran the "Drone Class with Citizens," offering education on drones, a key technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Furthermore, the city has managed accurate cadastral records and surveying, supported various projects using drones, promoted the Safe Housing Contract Assistance Service, and encouraged the use of road name addresses as part of its land administration efforts.
Mayor Lee Wanseop stated, "Being selected as an excellent institution for four consecutive years is a first in Chungnam Province and proves that our city is a leading institution in land administration in the province. We will continue to pursue dynamic land administration to make Seosan a more livable city."
