Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon strongly urged Acting President Han Duck-soo to immediately enact a special investigation into the rebellion, stating that the coup plot is horrifying to the extent of mobilizing tank units, while the rebellion leader Yoon Seok-yeol continues to persist with lies and resistance.

He continued, "Yet, the 'rebellion leader' Yoon Seok-yeol consistently resorts to lies, resistance, and stalling for time," raising his voice, "He even refuses to submit documents for the Constitutional Court's judgment and shows no sign of cooperating with investigations."
