The Gwangju branch of the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprises and Small Businesses announced on the 23rd that it held a 'Workshop and President Inauguration and Retirement Ceremony' at the Yeokdong Culture Wedding Hall in Gwangju on the 20th.

About 150 people attended the event, including Mayor Bang Se-hwan, members of the National Assembly, provincial and city councilors, federation members, and small business owners.
The event featured workshops on labor and tax education for small business owners and capacity building, followed by a retirement speech by Park Ji-hye, who led the Gwangju branch of the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprises and Small Businesses during the previous term, an inauguration speech by the newly appointed president Han Sang-won, and congratulatory speeches from the Mayor of Gwangju, members of the National Assembly, and other guests.
In her retirement speech, outgoing President Park Ji-hye said, "I am grateful to the executives and members who supported and participated in the development of the federation," and added, "I believe the new president will lead well going forward."
Following this, newly appointed President Han Sang-won expressed his aspirations, stating, "I will strive to improve the status of micro and small business owners and to become an organization that can contribute to the local community through volunteer activities for citizens."
