152 Million Won Raised in November Alone
15% of This Year's Fundraising Goal Achieved... 7 Tons of New Rice Consumed Through Promotion
Jeollanam-do held a year-end Hometown Love Donation Program certification event throughout November, resulting in 1,447 donors and a fundraising total of 152 million KRW. This means that 15% of this year's fundraising goal was achieved during the event period alone.
The event rewarded donors who contributed at least 100,000 KRW to the Jeollanam-do Provincial Office and ordered and received a thank-you gift through Hometown Love e-Eum. If they wrote a review after receiving the gift, they received an additional 20,000 KRW worth of Jeonnam fresh rice (Nanuuri Rice, Wanggeoni Tamnaen Rice, Hwangtorang Rice, Nabi Rice, Suho Cheonsa Geongangmi) as a bonus.
Timed to coincide with the increased interest in the Hometown Love Donation Program due to year-end tax settlements, the event not only promoted the Jeollanam-do Hometown Love Donation Program but also encouraged the consumption of Jeonnam rice.
Kang Kyungmoon, head of the Hometown Love Division at Jeollanam-do, said, "Thanks to many donors, this event led to an increase in Jeonnam rice consumption, which greatly benefited local farmers. We are also running another event in December, where Jeonnam elders provide homemade Kimjang Kimchi as an additional thank-you gift, so we hope for your continued interest."
The Jeonnam Hometown Love Donation Program Kimjang Kimchi event offers an additional 1kg of Jeonnam kimchi and bonus gifts to those who donate at least 100,000 KRW to the Jeollanam-do Provincial Office, receive a thank-you gift through Hometown Love e-Eum, and write a review. Additional gifts include Pa Kimchi, Gat Kimchi, Chonggak Kimchi, Godeulppaegi Kimchi, and Baechu Kimchi.
