Yangju City Conducts Surveillance Activities for Vulnerable Groups Living in Vinyl Greenhouses

In Collaboration with Yangju-si Regional Autonomous Disaster Prevention Group

Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 22nd that it conducted surveillance activities targeting vulnerable groups living in winter greenhouses throughout the city in collaboration with the Yangju City Regional Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps.

About 40 people participated in this activity, including employees from the Safety and Construction Department of Yangju City and members of the Yangju City Regional Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps, including Secretary Eo Mi-young.

On that day, the attendees focused on safety inspections of snow accumulation on residential greenhouses during winter, provided disaster response guidelines, and distributed fire extinguishers to prevent accidents caused by winter disasters.

A Yangju City official said, “We deeply appreciate the efforts of the Yangju City Regional Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps members who are leading disaster prevention in the community and practicing neighborly love,” and added, “We hope that the public and private sectors will continue to cooperate to create a safe and warm community.”
