On Sunday morning, the 22nd, temperatures will drop sharply by about 5 to 10 degrees, making it very cold.
On the 18th, when the morning temperature in the Seoul area dropped to minus 6 degrees Celsius and some parts of Gangwon Province fell below minus 10 degrees Celsius, marking the coldest day of this winter, citizens dressed in thick clothing were walking through the Sejongno intersection in Seoul. In the central regions, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk, daytime temperatures will remain around 0 degrees, and strong winds will make the wind chill even lower.
The morning low temperatures will range from -12 to 1 degree, and the daytime highs will be between 0 and 8 degrees, similar to or slightly lower than usual for this time of year.
The whole country will be mostly clear, but the western coast of Chungnam and the Jeolla region will be cloudy, and Jeju Island will be mostly overcast.
Fine dust levels will be 'good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 2.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
