Professor Lee Kwon-hyo of Francis College at Daegu Catholic University has published "Distortion of Metaphors in News," which has been selected as a 2024 Sejong Book in the general knowledge category.
The book by Professor Lee analyzes 40 cases of metaphorical expressions frequently used in mass media news that have been distorted in meaning or require reflection, and presents their accurate meanings.
In the 2024 Sejong Book selection, 427 titles were chosen from 5,503 submissions in the general knowledge category across 10 fields including general works, social sciences, and pure sciences.
