The first season of 'The Angry People' was released on Netflix in April last year. It tells the story of a subcontractor whose work is not going well and a businessman dissatisfied with his life, who get into conflict due to reckless driving. The series was directed, produced, and written by Korean-American director Lee Sung-jin, and stars Korean-American actors Steven Yeun, Ashley Park, Joseph Lee, and Justin Min. The work swept eight awards at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor and Actress, Directing, and Writing, and also won four Critics' Choice Awards, three Golden Globes, and two Gotham Awards.

Season 2 is set against the backdrop of an elitist country club run by a Korean billionaire and depicts the story of a young couple who accidentally witness a shocking fight between their boss and his spouse. It consists of eight 30-minute episodes, with director Lee returning as executive producer and showrunner following the first season. Youn Yuh-jung will appear as the Korean billionaire.
