Hanwha TotalEnergies announced on the 20th that it has been selected as a family-friendly certified company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
The Family-Friendly Certification system is a government program that grants certification to companies and public institutions that operate exemplary family-friendly policies, following a thorough evaluation. Companies that acquire this certification receive benefits such as additional points in various government and financial institution evaluations and support programs.
Hanwha TotalEnergies received high marks in various categories, including the operation of family-friendly policies, compliance with relevant laws, and employee satisfaction, and has obtained the family-friendly certification this year. The company will maintain this certification until 2027.
Hanwha TotalEnergies is actively supporting the stable family life of employees and their families by introducing various family-friendly policies. Notably, the company operates leave for childcare before and after a child's entry into elementary school to help children adapt, a system for reducing working hours to encourage male employees' participation in childcare, and infertility leave for treatment and procedures. In addition, psychological counseling services are provided both inside and outside the company to ensure the psychological stability and health of employees and their families.
