Icheon-si to Recruit Youth Equestrian Team Members Until Next Month 15

For Elementary School Grades 3 to 6

Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is recruiting members for the 'Icheon City Youth Equestrian Team' until January 15th next year.

This recruitment is for 4 members, and any student in grades 3 to 6 of elementary school within the city can apply. Selection will be conducted through a three-step process: document screening, interview, and practical test. The final selected equestrian team members will receive partial support for riding equipment, training fees, and competition participation fees.

Applications can be made by contacting the Livestock Division of the Icheon Agricultural Technology Center or the Stevens Sports Academy Center.

The Icheon City Youth Equestrian Team was established in November 2015 to discover potential equestrian talent necessary for the future growth of the horse industry in the city, which is a designated horse industry special zone. This year, the team achieved first place in the youth elementary division of dressage at the Presidential National Equestrian Competition and first place overall in youth dressage at the Spring National Equestrian Competition.
