Pocheon deXter is operated by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and was established to support digital trade and global exports of local small and medium-sized enterprises. The opening ceremony was held ahead of schedule through active cooperation between Pocheon City and KOTRA.
Pocheon deXter provides integrated support for all stages of digital trade, including digital content production, digital marketing and consultation, and digital trade workforce training. It is scheduled to officially begin operations in January 2025.
deXter consists of four specialized spaces: the K-Studio for digital content production, the Digital Marketing Room for marketing education and practice using digital platforms, the Digital Trade Consultation Room for consultations with overseas buyers, and the Digital Cafe for user interaction.
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “The opening of Pocheon deXter will be an important opportunity to revitalize the export economy of the northern Gyeonggi region and to innovate digital trade. Digital trade is a means to achieve high productivity while saving labor and a powerful tool to maximize access to overseas markets. We hope that Pocheon deXter will become a strong supporter that strengthens the global competitiveness of local companies and expands exports.”
