Kakao Enterprise announced on the 20th that it will support Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency to accelerate the use of cloud services and enhance the competitiveness of startups in the province.
The two organizations signed an agreement and plan to link and support various programs to revitalize startups in the province through the Gyeonggi Startup Platform project, as well as discover other joint projects.
The Gyeonggi Startup Platform is a specialized online startup platform established in Gyeonggi-do in 2019, the first of its kind among local governments nationwide. It provides various services such as support project information, expert consultation, manufacturing consulting, and investment attraction support programs for budding companies and prospective entrepreneurs in the province.
Kakao Enterprise will play a role in supporting the rapid growth of startups by conducting the startup win-win program "Rocket Launcher" on the Gyeonggi Startup Platform. Rocket Launcher is a win-win program that helps early-stage startups commercialize innovative ideas into products.
For startups in the province supported through the Gyeonggi Startup Platform, the application process for Rocket Launcher will be greatly simplified, allowing them to quickly utilize Kakao Cloud through a fast track.
To ensure that startups in the province do not face difficulties in using Kakao Cloud, educational programs and expert technical support will also be provided.
